Elementary

This section is designed to provide a practical introduction to the COBOL programming language. It covers such topics as:

	Program Logic and Flowcharting
	COBOL – Coding and Structure
	Compiling, Testing and Running programs.

During the course, students write and compile a number of low to medium level programs and get them running. The final examination is a merge, update and statistics program which the student must get up and running without assistance.
